Team Queen Finishes Clean

So today we arrived at the job site in record time, no misdirections and obfuscations by the NaviAlligator (see previous post for rebuttal). The Blue Plague was still holding on to quite a bit of trim and a bit of wainscotting. We set about with Brown Paint to obliterate the Blue, engaging several teams armed with brushes and paint cups. By noon it was pretty clear we were going to overcome all but one roll-down door, but what about the mess? Of course, we had used drop cloths, and of course we’re very tidy painters, but, well, drips happen. Alot. Thankfully, we had help from some local youth and our own Team Jackson and before we knew it we were done! Of course, we did have to repair a door Gene tore off its hinges, and the railing he removed for ease of painting, but even these came together with unusual ease. Quit pulling strings, guys! But a satisfying end to the week, with all members of Team Queen pulling together!
